He also serves as a director at the Brazilian Association of Financial Law (ABDF), the Brazilian Association of Tax Law (ABRADT), the Center for Studies of Law Firms (CESA), the International Fiscal Association (IFA), the International Bar Association (IBA), and the Institute for International Taxation, Inc. (IITI). He was a professor of International Tax Law at PUC-Rio, where he also earned his law degree. He was the officer responsible for portfolio management at Itaú Distribuidora de Títulos e Valores Mobiliários S.A., and served as Head of Asset Management at Itaú USA Asset Management in New York (USA) from 2017 to 2020.
